Wellfine Wins Excellence Award at the 7th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Job Awards

Wellfine has been honored with the Excellence Award at the 7th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Job Awards.

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Jin-tae Kim) and the Gangwon Economic Promotion Agency announced the selection of winning companies for the 7th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Job Awards, a program aimed at recognizing outstanding businesses that have contributed to job creation and employment stability in the province, while promoting a culture of happy workplaces.

This year, a total of 33 companies participated in the awards. After eligibility screenings by local cities and counties, the selection process included quantitative and qualitative evaluations, on-site inspections, and a final review by the judging panel. Ultimately, nine companies were selected as award recipients.

The Grand Prize was awarded to UbioLogics Co., Ltd. (Chuncheon).

The Excellence Awards were given to:

• * World Chemical Co., Ltd. (Chuncheon)

• * Wellfine Co., Ltd. (Hoengseong)

• * Jiweon Bio Co., Ltd. (Chuncheon)

• * PharmaResearch Bio Co., Ltd. (Gangneung)

• * Hansang International Co., Ltd. (Wonju)

• * Human Systems Co., Ltd. (Wonju)

The Special Award, newly introduced this year, was presented to Todamaterials Co., Ltd. (Wonju) for its exemplary achievements in job creation practices.

Awarded companies will receive various benefits including a trophy, preferential participation in employment environment improvement programs, deferment of local tax audits, and promotional support.

The award ceremony will take place on June 24 at the Sky Convention in Chuncheon, and will be broadcast on G1 TV.

Man-ho Kim, Director of Economic Affairs for Gangwon Province, stated,
“We hope the Job Awards will help publicize and spread successful employment practices throughout the region. Gangwon Province will continue to actively support the growth of quality, private-sector-driven jobs.”
